Frequently Asked Questions

What IDs do you accept?

Government‑issued photo ID (state ID/driver license, passport, military ID). Expired IDs may be refused.

Do you offer remote notarizations?

No. I only provide in‑person, mobile notarizations.

Does it have to be a New York State ID?

No, it only needs to be a government-issued photo ID recognized by the state of New York.

Do you provide legal advice?

No — I’m not an attorney and cannot draft/select forms or provide legal advice.

Are gun permits, Nurse IDs or Police IDS acceptable?

Bring a current government-issued photo ID (state ID/driver license or passport). MOST employer badges (i.e., nurse/clinic IDs) or permits DO NOT qualify on their own. If you’re unsure, bring a driver license or passport as your primary ID.

Do you handle apostilles?

No — I cannot provide apostille services. After notarization, you’ll need to submit your document to the New York Department of State (or the appropriate authority) for the apostille.
